2 WR FOLLOW UP: Once your application has been received, an automatic reply will be generated from the Volunteer Team with a link to watch the World Relief Volunteer Orientation 101 Video.
2 WATCH ORIENTATION 101: Familiarize yourself with World Relief as an organization and our programs. To find out more about our main volunteer opportunities in High Point and Winston-Salem, check out the “Current Opportunities” section.
4 ATTEND VOLUNTEER TRAINING 201: Before being considered for a volunteer position, all applicants must attend a Volunteer Training session. These sessions will introduce you to World Relief, our work and essential information needed for your volunteer experience.
5 BACKGROUND CHECK: Once Training 201 has been attended, a follow-up email will be sent to each attendee containing a link to complete a background check. You may opt to contribute any amount donation towards World Relief's $35 cost for this requirement.
6 PLACEMENT: Once your background check has been approved, you're ready to get started! The Volunteer Team will follow-up with potential placement(s). Depending on your role, you'll be able to sign up for weekly volunteer opportunities or wait to be matched with a family as an English Language Volunteer, Friendship Partner or Good Neighbor Team.
